About Me

Originally from San Francisco, Mia Trubelja is New York City based actor with a background heritage from Serbia and Croatia. She completed her BFA at Emerson College while also traveling overseas to study Shakespeare training at the BADA Midsummer in Oxford program. Upon completion of her undergraduate studies, she immediately moved to New York City.

Since then, Mia Trubelja been working with Adult Film + Theatre, taking the many classes they have to offer and assistant directing on projects. Recently, she worked under theatre director Danica Selem for the world premiere of Lillian Mottern’s play Moonshiner. She has also acted in numerous short films, readings, and plays. Due to her studies she is well versed in performing material from Shakespeare and Ibsen, to Chekhov and Tennessee Williams. She also holds a dual citizenship for both the U.S. and Croatia.
